Who are we? What is this site?โ€‹

We are a group of volunteers that saw a need in connecting Ukrainians in need of assistance, to those who can provide it. We are not a company. We do not raise funds, nor will we collect any donations and distribute them. There are many organizations already doing so, very effectively.

We have developed a secure platform that allows Ukrainians or foreigners within Ukraine to request evacuation or financial assistance. If you decide to help (which we hope you do!), you will be able to connect directly with the ones requesting help, and develop a personal, life-long connection.

All requests for assistance can directly be viewed on this site. Simply click โ€œI want to helpโ€ register for a free account to view and start helping.

If you do not have the financial means to assist someone, you can still help by sharing this site with the world.

I want to help

How can I help Ukraine?

Access to the portal is 100% free!

Due to the sensitive nature of the assistance requests and to prevent access by unsavory individuals, we must verify user accounts upon registration.

This process is usually completed within minutes and you will receive an email once your account is approved.

Browse the list of assistance requests and decide which family or individual you would like to assist.

You can sort and view active requests based on your preferences.

Not all requests are for financial assistance. Many Ukrainians are requesting either evacuation or assistance in locating family members whom have left the country.

Once you have identified the request you wish to fulfill, simply click "I will help this user".

Once you have identified and clicked "I will help this user", the request is removed from the active list to give you time to fulfill the request. If you are unable to fulfill the request, please mark the request as "Unable to fulfill" to give others the chance to assist.

If you are able to successfully fulfill this request, please mark the request "I have fulfilled this request".

If you are not able to reach the user for any reason after 24 hours, please mark the request as "Unable to reach" and we will further investigate the issue.

All options are available within your user panel.

We do ask your understanding that once you accept to help a user, the request can no longer be fulfilled by other users, and we kindly request that you only agree to assist users in which you are able to assist.

Simply put, we have no money to advertise and nor do we plan to raise money.

We would rather see users donate directly to the ones whom need help rather then the organizers of this site.

We rely on you to help us spread the word.

Please consider sharing our project on social media or telling your friends and family.

Frequently asked questions

To overcome all language barriers, we translate all requests for assistance to English during the request approval process.

This allows your to either view the request in English or you can select your native language using the language selector located on the bottom right of every page.

Sending money to someone Ukraine is not difficult!

Unfortunately common money services such as Paypal, Zelle and Cashapp are not available, but there are other options:

Western Union
Western Union has waived all fees to sending money to Ukraine.

MoneyGram

Wise

Ria

Xoom
A paypal company

Remitly

With any of the above services, you would choose to send money to a bank card.

The bankcard number and necessary information is available to you once you have agreed to assist a user that is requesting financial assistance. You will find this information in your user portal.

If you would rather send cash, please visit your closest Western Union or Moneygram location with the information of the user you wish to assist.

In most circumstances, transfers occur in 30 minutes or less.

The majority of Ukrainians are without work at this time and are quickly running out of funds.

Fulfilling a financial request could mean a family now has the funds to survive a few more days.

Most food shops remain open for business and accept cards for payments.

Of course! You can help as many as you would like.

We do have a limit of 2 open, unfulfilled requests per user at any given time.

Once you have fulfilled a request you can accept another.

Yes you can!

95% of all Ukrainians are using prepaid mobile services which are very convenient to "recharge".

An average monthly bill with unlimited data with any of the 3 major carriers is 400UAH, or approximately $14.00 USD.

We recommend using Ding.com as they have waived all service fees to recharge a Ukrainian phone number.

All you need is the users mobile number, which will be available to you once you have agreed to help a user.

Simply enter the mobile number on Ding.com*, the site will automatically detect which carrier and allow you to send any amount you wish.

*We are NOT an affiliate of Ding.com nor do we receive any compensation. You are free to use any vendor you wish ๐Ÿ™‚

Absolutely! We encourage you to communicate with the user directly - even if it is not required to fulfill the request.

Once you have selected and agreed to assist a user, you will have access to all contact methods including phone number, Whatsapp, Viber, Telegram and email.

You can communicate using these applications, free of charge.

In Ukraine the native language is Ukrainian. We recommend downloading Google Translate to assist you in communication.

Words of encouragement are always appreciated!

We would strongly encourage against sending any packages to Ukraine.

If the package actually arrives to Ukraine, most courier services are not delivering packages thus requiring the receiver to travel to the closest pickup location, which would put them in serious danger.

Yes! We have partnered with industry leading companies to provide the highest level of security services.

In fact, all companies have donated services at no cost to us to support our project.

In today's digital age, any site can be attacked. While we are using the latest security systems available, no site can be fully protected, including your own email and banking systems.

But rest assured, We do not store any information about you, or users requesting assistance that cannot be found online!

Any financial assistance is made directly to the user, by you - never through this site.

You have complete choice in which company you wish to send financial assistance.

Yes, you can contact us by completing our contact form.

Please be aware that we are a very small team of developers across the world. Our attention is dedicated to improving this site and connecting the world to Ukrainians needing assistance.

We always value input and bug reporting, as well as words of encouragement!

While it may be impossible for us to reply to all messages in a timely manner, please know we do see each and every one of them!

We are always looking for volunteers that can bring some valuable assistance to us!
